Rubber grommet is stuck on a metal plate and is worn through wires in the middle. The purpose is to protect wires from being cut by metal plates. Usually, we mostly call rubber grommet the protective sleeve, the retaining ring and the rubber ring are more in line with the functional nature of the product.
